A Pause for Refreshment

I've been scrambling around with work and I'm going to push my race report out one more day. Here's a picture of my 10 min soak in Sherman Creek immediately after the 50 miler. Can you spell NUMB ?

well you gave it away thank goodness.

Eric, what was the actual gain and mileage for the day. I messed up with my watch that day. Just curious mind you.

Recover and you looked great in Eugene. Just amazing how well you have trained. It will continue to be fun to watch how well this year goes for you. I am excited for you.

Have fun this coming weekend.

No, but I can spell DUMB!. It's spelled Rob, or also Eric:)

We're just dumb runners.

I should have credited that term to Tom R. I believe he is the mastermind behind that saying and I believe I am just a dumb runner as well.

the reason why the marathon wasn't that hard is because you are so well trained!!!

yes, i wrote with sidewalk chalk cheering you, michelle, rob, and other maniacs on at mile 15.

Kyly cheered on Ellie who is coming back from two years of injuries. We hope the best for ellie as she has run sub 7:30 for 50 miles and this was her first race in two years. She just wanted to finish and did not want to race at all. She looked great all day and had a good time.

You looked fantastic just like at Capital Peak. You are just going to have such a fantastic time at States. It will be fun to watch you.

I will be cheering on everybody from the Northwest. It will be exciting just watching.

Have a great week.

You look alert to me. The creek must have simplified the logistics. No need to fill the bathtub, carry ice, prepare your own ordeal. Nature provides. Cool picture - in more than one way.
