24 Summits - ON AGAIN!

A local runner Michael Cartwright has volunteered to run the 12 summit night section on Tiger Mt. with me so my second annual 24 summit epic run adventure is on again this weekend! This run is 68 miles with 20,500 feet of climbing. The weather looks like it may cooperate so it should be a great training run. I may end up running all or part of the daytime 12 summits tomorrow solo but the night section was the part I didn't want to run on my own. Last year the second 12 summit run was slow with a lot of death marches on the steep inclines. Makes you appreciate the traverses!

Have a great weekend of running!

Great stuff Eric, best of luck! It sounds like a great event, is it a race or is it something you elect to do yourself?

slow, with a lot of death marches, isn't exactly selling me on this. =) I mean, I'm already at a slow death march on flat ground!

I'm glad you have company, now you have someone else to make monkey noises with you. ;-)

12 summits at night so that you can get 24 summits in. Sounds like something only a real friend would do. Hope you have a great run Eric.

Has anyone ever told you that you're completely nuts? Yeah, thought so.

Great stuff!
