Bad Teddy!

OMG - look what I found on the copy machine in my home office! I think I'm going to need to file a formal disciplinary action on the Teddy Bear. I just know that if I confront Teddy he will blame it on the dog! Note to self: Get out of office, make appointments to see customers.
On the running front I put in 13 on Saturday with Steve in Puyallup at an 8:22 average pace and 13.5 on Sunday at Lake Youngs at a 9:50 pace. I was going to run further on Sunday but lacked the oomph to keep going. I blame that on running with a 12lb. Camelbak. I thought that I had gone out too fast but the garmin shows that I actually picked up my pace as I went along. How's that old Eagles song go... running down the road trying to loosen my load got 7 miles on my mind, or something like that. Perhaps I sped up because as I drank and sweat my load got lighter. Perhaps it just takes my old body longer to warm up these days. Oh well with a 50K coming up next weekend I've justified the shorter distance on Sunday to keeping my legs fresh for Chuckanut.
I promise to have some pictures of as many runners and views as I possibly can find time for.
Cheers!

You're a sick man, funny but sick.

Nice! You have too much time on your hands!

You should be out running with that extra time rather than fondling that poor teddy. There's no time for rest. You're on a mission, Chuckanut is just a minor pit stop. Don't make me send Olga after you:)

Oh my. The things you get up to when I'm not home. I'm just glad it was Teddy on the copier and not a certain runner...

Perhaps you were tired because we got 5.5 hours of sleep the night before. Although, I was still able to perform admirably. But then, you are a little bit older...

OMG. Poor, poor teddy.

It must be that spring is in the air. Or something. :)

In 52 years, I've never seen a stuffed bear from that angle. My life is now complete.

I hope Teddy behaves himself/herself/itself while you're at Chuckanut! : )

I am NOT that big of a Teddy Bear, may be bigger than usual though:( You're right, don't worry about me, be nice to me, so I don't feel like a snail. Try to calculate your finish time no more than 30 min ahead!
And take pictures of me in my new Dirty Girl gaiters, she asked me to send it to her for the website! So hang out at the finish line to get me in time to cross that dang line!

Teddy Bear madness ...

Anyhow Eric, I will be doing a couple more 12 summits in April hopefully. As I said before, I will do repeats on some of the climbs ... don't worry about how fast you go, I love showing off that course. Let's do it. Who else wants to go?
