Thanks to you and Steve for driving up yesterday. That was a great surprise to round the corner and see you guys standing there.

Steve gave me potato at the aid station and I don't know what it was laced in, but that was the best potato I've ever had!

Get well and see you soon.

Very cool photos.

BTW, I tried calling that hotel again, hoping to get a different person. I did get a different person. She wouldn't let me register. I said, "My friends are booked in, so why can't I?" She checked and apparently there is *1* booking (yours - I asked by last name :-) and they absolutely will not take any other bookings until June.

Apparently the manager took a strip off the person who booked your room and he's since put a block on the computer for reserving during that time frame.

Tell me, how do you run with that horseshoe up your behind? ! ? ! :-)

I enjoyed the slide show. Thanks for stopping by and taking the photos and letting the rest of us deal with the mud and the agony for the rest of the night. I think you could have got some better misery shots at the end of the night.

Ugh! I so wished I would have been able to do Bridle! Damn my chest cold! I've been off my feet for nearly a week and haven't ran a lick until today! :-(

It was good to see you and Steve there. I'm sorry you got sick and couldn't run - the mudbath was great! Hope you are well and able to run at Capitol Peak next weekend!
